The paper discusses the classification of fuzzy metrics based on their continuity conditions, dividing them into Erceg, Deng, Yang-Shi, and Chen metrics. It explores the relationships between these types of fuzzy metrics, concluding that a Deng metric in [0,1]-topology must also be Erceg, Chen, and Yang-Shi metrics. The paper also proves that the product of countably many Deng pseudo-metric spaces remains a Deng pseudo-metric space, and demonstrates some σ-locally finite properties of Deng metric space. Additionally, the paper constructs two interrelated mappings based on normal space and concludes that if a [0,1]-topological space is T1 and regular, and its topology has a σ-locally finite base, then it is Deng metrizable, and thus Erceg, Yang-Shi, and Chen metrizable as well.

Street view images can help us better understand the city environment and potential characteristics. With the development of computer vision and deep learning, the technology of semantic segmentation algorithms has become more mature. However, DeeplabV3+, which is commonly used in semantic segmentation, has shortcomings such as a large number of parameters, high requirements for computing resources, and easy loss of detailed information. Therefore, this paper proposes LM-DeeplabV3+, which aims to greatly reduce parameters and computations of the model while ensuring the segmentation accuracy. Firstly, the lightweight network MobileNetV2 is selected as the backbone network, and the ECA attention mechanism is introduced after MobileNetV2 extracts shallow features to improve the ability of feature representation; secondly, the ASPP module is improved, and on its basis, the EPSA attention mechanism is introduced to achieve cross-dimensional channel attention and important feature interaction; thirdly, a loss function named CL loss is designed to balance the training offset of multiple categories and better indicate the segmentation quality. This paper conducted experimental verification on the Cityspaces dataset, and the results showed that the mIoU reached 74.9%, which was an improvement of 3.56% compared to DeeplabV3+; the mPA reached 83.01%, which was an improvement of 2.53% compared to DeeplabV3+.

Ship detection in large-scene offshore synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images is crucial in civil and military fields, such as maritime management and wartime reconnaissance. However, the problems of low detection rates, high false alarm rates, and high missed detection rates of offshore ship targets in large-scene SAR images are due to the occlusion of objects or mutual occlusion among targets, especially for small ship targets. To solve this problem, this study proposes a target detection model (TAC_CSAC_Net) that incorporates a multi-attention mechanism for detecting marine vessels in large-scene SAR images. Experiments were conducted on two public datasets, the SAR-Ship-Dataset and high-resolution SAR image dataset (HRSID), with multi-scene and multi-size, and the results showed that the proposed TAC_CSAC_Net model achieves good performance for both small and occluded target detection. Experiments were conducted on a real large-scene dataset, LS-SSDD, to obtain the detection results of subgraphs of the same scene. Quantitative comparisons were made with classical and recently developed deep learning models, and the experiments demonstrated that the proposed model outperformed other models for large-scene SAR image target detection.

This paper uses resilience as a lens through which to analyse disasters and other major threats to patterns of criminal behaviour. A set of indicators and mathematical models are introduced that aim to quantitatively describe changes in crime levels in comparison to what could otherwise be expected, and what might be expected by way of adaptation and subsequent resumption of those patterns. The validity of the proposed resilience assessment tool is demonstrated using commercial theft data from the COVID-19 pandemic period. A 64 per cent reduction in crime was found in the studied city (China) during an 83-day period, before daily crime levels bounced back to higher than expected values. The proposed resilience indicators are recommended as benchmarking instruments for evaluating and comparing the global impact of COVID-19 policies on crime and public safety.

In recent years, a large-scale afforestation campaign has taken place in Inner Mongolia, China, to control desertification and soil erosion. However, the water consumption associated with large-scale afforestation significantly impacts the water resources in Inner Mongolia, resulting in a substantial ecological risk. This study aimed to evaluate the ecological risk of water resources caused by afforestation in the region. In this study, based on land cover data, Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) data, and meteorological data, used trend analysis, water balance equation, and Water resources Security Index (WSI) index to analyze the ecological risks of water resources caused by afforestation in Inner Mongolia from 2000 to 2020. The results show that:(1) The afforestation area in Inner Mongolia was 5.37×104 km2 in 2000-2020; (2) Afforestation in arid and semi-arid areas leads to the reduction of water resources. (3) Afforestation reduces water resources in the study area by 0.76×108m3/year; (4) ~76% of afforestation regions face ecological risks of water resources.

Pulsating high frequency voltage injection can be used for sensorless control of SPMSM at zero and low speed ranges. However, the sensorless capability still faces challenges to the requirements of industrial application, especially at heavy load status. Aiming at this issue, this article proposes a sensorless capability expansion method for SPMSM based on inductance parameter identification. First, incremental inductances at d-q-axis and cross-coupling inductance are identified by three steps combining the rotating high frequency voltage injection and pulsating high frequency voltage injection, then, using polynomial curve fitting algorithm, apparent inductances are calculated. Second, positive DC current injection at d-axis is proposed to enhance the saliency ratio based on the analysis of parameter identification results. Compared with the conventional =0 or < 0 method, when positive DC current is injected at d-axis, saliency ratio is enhanced. Third, convergence region is expanded at heavy load status and accuracy of rotor position estimation is improved using the proposed method. Finally, the experiment results validate that the sensorless capability of SPMSM is expanded.

Optical micro-angiography (OMAG) is a new method of detecting flow rate and widely used for in vivo imaging. Although OMAG can distinguish between flowing and stationary parts, it cannot obtain accurate flow rate information. This study proposed a range formula for OMAG and the ultrahigh-sensitivity OMAG (UHS-OMAG) method to quantify the measurement range of an entire system. The parameters of the angle between beam scanning and flow directions, the angular velocity of the galvanometer, and the offset of incident light were introduced, and a formula for calculating the range was derived. Experiments were conducted to measure fine and ultra-fine flow rates by using OMAG and UHS-OMAG methods. The minimum measured flow rate was approximately 30 μm/s, and the maximum measured flow rate was approximately 8 mm/s. Experimental results are in good agreement with the preset results.

The performance analysis of the internal/external flows around a high speed vehicle in near-space is fundamental and critical to the configuration and structure design for high speed aircraft. In this paper, the two-dimensional coupled implicit Reynolds Average Navier-Stokes (RANS) solver and RNG k–ε turbulence model is employed to numerically simulate the flow field of an integrated high speed vehicle. The flow field are divided three parts to solve separately and compared with that solved by integrated simulation. The flow field are decomposed to save computer storage and simulation time. The first part is inlet/isolator, the second part is combustion chamber and the third is nozzle. In the computation process, the outlet condition of isolator is endowed to the inlet boundary of combustion chamber and the outlet boundary of combustion chamber is endowed to the inlet boundary of nozzle, then the whole flow field of integrated high speed vehicle is solved. Aerodynamic characteristic of fragment-computation and integration-computation is comparatively analyzed at different angles of attack, the results show that the maximum deviation of lift coefficient obtained by fragment-computation is less than 3% compared with that by integration, the maximum deviation of drag coefficient fragment-computation is less than 5% compared with that by integration, while pitching moment coefficient deviation less than 12%. However, for simulation time-consumption, the time used by fragment-computation reduces 45% compared with integration-computation. Meanwhile, by components force analysis, it can be concluded that the aerodynamic property of inlet/isolator can been obtained separately and hardly effected by other parts.

Clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats/associated protein 9 nuclease (CRISPR/Cas9) technology guided by a single-guide RNA (sgRNA) has recently opened a new avenue for antiviral therapy. A unique capability of the CRISPR/Cas9 system is multiple genome engineering. However, there are few applications in insect viruses by a single Cas9 enzyme targeting two or more sgRNA at different genomic sites for simultaneous production of multiple DNA breaks. To address the need for multi-gene editing and sustained delivery of multiplex CRISPR/Cas9-based genome engineering tools, we developed a one-vector (pSL1180-Cas9-U6-sgRNA) system to express multiple sgRNA and Cas9 protein to excise Bombyx mori nucleopolyhedrovirus (BmNPV) in insect cells. Here, ie-1, gp64, lef-11, and dnapol genes were screened and identified as multiple sgRNA editing sites according to the BmNPV system infection and DNA replication mechanism. Furthermore, we constructed a multiplex editing vector sgMultiple to efficiently regulate multiplex gene editing steps and inhibit BmNPV replication after viral infection. This is the first report that describes the application of multiplex CRISPR/Cas9 system inhibiting insect virus replication. This multiplex system can significant enable the potential of CRISPR/Cas9-based multiplex genome engineering in transgenic silkworms.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common cancers and the main cause of cancer-related death globally. Immune dysregulation of CD4+ T cells has been identified as a role in the development of HCC. Nevertheless, the underlying molecular pathways of CD4+ T cells in HCC are not completely known. Thus, a better understanding of the dysregulation of lncRNA-miRNA/mRNA network might yield novel insights into the etiology or progression of HCC. In this study, circulating CD4+ T cells were isolated from the whole blood of 10 healthy controls and 10 HCC patients for next-generation sequencing of the expression of lncRNAs, miRNAs, and mRNAs. Our data showed that there was different expression of 34 transcripts (two lncRNAs, XIST and MIR222HG, 29 mRNA, and 3 other types of RNA) and 13 miRNAs in the circulating CD4+ T cells of HCC patients. The expression of the lncRNA XIST-related miRNAs and their target mRNAs was confirmed using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) on samples from 100 healthy controls and 60 HCC patients. The lncRNA–miRNA/mRNA regulation network was created using interaction data generated from ENCORI and revealed there are positive correlations in the infiltration of total CD4+ T cells and negative correlations in the infiltration of Th1 CD4+ T cells.

The study comprehensively evaluated the prognostic roles of PLR, NLR, MLR, BLR, and ELR in patients with acute exacerbation chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD). 619 patients with AECOPD and 300 healthy volunteers were retrospectively included into the study. The clinical characteristics containing laboratory findings of the AECOPD patients and the blood cell counts (CBCs) of the healthy volunteers were collected. Compared with the healthy volunteers, PLR, NLR, and MLR were elevated in COPD patients in stable condition, and were further ele-vated during exacerbation. ELR showed the opposite trend. PLR, NLR, and MLR were all posi-tively correlated with hospital LOS as well as CRP. In contrast, ELR was negatively correlated with hospital LOS as well as CRP. Elevated PLR, NLR, and MLR were all associated with more serious airflow limitation in AECOPD. Elevated PLR, NLR, and MLR were all associated with increased in-hospital mortality while Elevated ELR was associated with decreased in-hospital mortality in AECOPD. A nomogram was construct to predict in-hospital mortality in AECOPD. The nomo-gram had a C-index of 0.850 (95% CI: 0.799 – 0.901) with good predictive value and clinical ap-plicability. In summary, PLR, NLR, MLR, and ELR served as predictors for clinical outcomes in patients with AECOPD.
