Abstract
We summarize the key aspects of the ongoing octonionic E8 ×ωE8 unification program. This summary was fed to Open AI’s GPT-5.4 Pro with a prompt to give a critical appraisal of this program, and to compare it with string theory. We include the prompt and the detailed response from AI in an Appendix.
