Conceived long before its launch, the idea behind Preprints.org dates back to 1998, when MDPI registered the domain www.preprints.net and planned a service to collect draft manuscripts. The idea is realized in 2016 with the launch of Preprints.org.
Ten years later, we have grown into a global platform where researchers share work, exchange feedback, and advance open knowledge together. As we celebrate our first decade, we look back at what the community has built and invite you to join us with what comes next.

The video will be available online shortly, so stay tuned...
Celebrate with us by sharing a message about your experience with Preprints.org. Selected messages will be featured during our 10th anniversary starting May 11, 2026.
