The analysis of high-temperature physicochemical properties of theK₃AlF₆-Na₃AlF₆-AlF₃ molten salt system is crucial for practical production of electrolytic aluminum. In this paper, the physicochemical properties of the K₃AlF₆-Na₃AlF₆-AlF₃ molten salt electrolyte system at 1173 K and standard atmospheric pressure were simulated using molecular dynamics calculations. The effects of Zr、B、C、W、Ti、Hf、Nb、and Ta on the radial distribution function, coordination number, viscosity and conductivity of the electrolyte system are discussed in detail. The simulation results show that the coordination number between Al-F and the conductivity is decreasing as the content of B²- increases. And the coordination number between Al-F and the viscosity is decreasing as the content of Zr⁴⁺ increases. With the addition of impurity elements such as C, W, Ti, Hf, Nb, and Ta, the data show that C has no significant effect on this electrolyte system, while the presence of W will decrease the coordination number between Al-F in the system. The presence of Ti, Hf, Nb, and Ta may intensify the decomposition reaction between one of the Al-F ligands, which increases the coordination number between Al-F and the number of ions in the electrolyte. This work provides theoretical support for the subsequent study of inert anodes containing Zr, B, Ti, Hf, Nb, and Ta.

The formation of high-melting-point Cu₆Sn₅ interconnections is crucial to overcome the collapse of Sn-based micro-bumps and produce reliable intermetallic interconnections in three-dimensional (3D) package. However, because of the multiple reflows in 3D package manufacturing, Cu₆Sn₅ interconnections will experience the cyclic polymorphic transitions in the solid state. The repeated and abrupt change in the Cu₆Sn₅ lattice due to the cyclic polymorphic transitions can cause extreme strain oscillations, producing damages at the surface and in the interior of the Cu₆Sn₅ matrix. Moreover, because of the polymorphic-transition-induced grain splitting and superstructure phase formation, the reliability of Cu₆Sn₅ interconnections will thus face great challenges in 3D package. In addition, the Cu₆Sn₅ polymorphic transition is structure-dependent, and the η′↔η polymorphic transition will occur at the surface while the η′↔ηs↔η polymorphic transition will occur in the deep matrix. Our results can provide in-depth understandings of structural evolution and damage mechanism of Cu₆Sn₅ interconnections in real 3D package manufacturing.

Due to poor ventilation conditions in the tunnel, if gas pipeline leaks, the consequence of the accident will be more serious. Therefore, before the emergency repair, gas in the tunnel needs to be excharged so as not to explode during the repair process. Therefore, it is necessary to study the ventilation of gas in the tunnel. Based on the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) theory and taking the Yanyingshan tunnel section of China-Myanmar pipeline as an example, this paper uses Fluent software to establish the leakage model of the gas pipeline and fan model in the tunnel and analyzes the influence of different fan locations and number of fans on gas concentration. It can be concluded that: (1) the use of press-in method makes it more efficient to discharge gas out of the tunnel. (2) In order to make ventilation efficient, the fan should be arranged in a higher position and needs to be at a distance from the top of the tunnel. (3) Parallel use of two fans has better ventilation effect than single fan.

Vine growth habit (VGH) is a notable property of wild soybean plants that also holds a high degree of importance in the context of domestication as it can preclude the use of these wild cultivars for the breeding and improvement of domesticated soybean. Here, a bulked segregant analysis (BSA) approach was employed to study the genetic etiology of VGH in soybean plants by integrating linkage mapping and population sequencing approaches. To develop a recombinant inbred line (RIL) population, the cultivated Zhongdou41 (ZD41) soybean cultivar was bred with ZYD02787, a wild soybean accession. The VGH status of each line in the resultant population was assessed, ultimately leading to the identification of 6 and 9 QTLs from the BSA sequencing of the F4 population and F6- F8 population sequence mapping, respectively. One QTL shared across these analyzed generations was detected on chromosome 19. Three other QTLs detected by BSA-seq were validated and localized to 90.93 kb, 2.9 Mb, and 602.08 kb regions of chromosomes 6 and 13, respectively harboring 14, 53, and 4 genes. Four consistent VGH-related QTLs located on chromosomes 10, 13, and 19 were detected by both analytical approaches in a minimum of two environments, while an additional five loci on chromosomes 2, 10, and 18 were detected in at least two environments only via ICIM mapping. Of the detected loci, five had been reported previously whereas six represent novel QTLs. Together, these data offer new insight into the genetic basis for VGH in soybean plates, providing a rational basis to inform the use of wild accessions in future breeding efforts.

With the gradual improvement of coal mining efficiency, the disturbance of groundwater system caused by the high-intensity mining mode also increases, which is a more severe challenge to the prevention of mine safety and the protection of water resources in mining areas. How to accurately describe the dynamic changes of the groundwater system under mining and quantitatively predict mine water inflow is a major problem in the current research. Based on the full analysis of the response characteristics of groundwater system to the extraction disturbance, this paper forms a kind of method to establish a mine hydrogeological conceptual model that can accurately represent the water inrush process, and uses the MODFLOW non-structural division grid to accurately characterize the formation structure, and finally make accurate water inflow prediction. Taking the Caojiatan Coal Mine in Shaanxi Province, China as an example, a numerical model of unstructured mine water inrush was established for the first time, and the changes of water inflow source and water inflow intensity were quantitatively evaluated. Compared with the traditional water inflow prediction method, it is found that the prediction accuracy is improved by 12%~17% by detailing the response characteristics of complex groundwater system under high-strength coal seam mining conditions. The method is of great significance and promotion value for the comprehensive understanding of the disturbance characteristics of human underground engineering activities, such as coal mining, on the groundwater system, and for accurately predicting water inflow.
