In this paper, I investigate Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stabilities of the general quintic functional equation and the general sextic functional equation.

We prove general stability theorems for $n$-dimensional quartic-cubic-quadratic-additive type functional equations of the form \begin{eqnarray*} \sum_{i=1}^\ell c_i f \big( a_{i1}x_1 + a_{i2}x_2 + \cdots + a_{in}x_n \big) = 0 \end{eqnarray*} by applying the direct method. These stability theorems can save us much trouble of proving the stability of relevant solutions repeatedly appearing in the stability problems for various functional equations.

In this paper, we introduce a way of representing a given mapping as the sum of odd and even mappings. Then, by using this representation, we investigate the stability of various forms for the general nonic functional equation.

In this paper, we consider the generalized sextic functional equation \begin{align*} \sum_{i=0}^{7}{}_7 C_{i} (-1)^{7-i}f(x+iy) = 0. \end{align*} And by applying the fixed point theory in the sense of L. C\u adariu and V. Radu, we will discuss the stability of the solutions for this functional equation.
