The expansion of the universe yields two consistent differing values of a Hubble constant depending on the methods of measurement. The aim of this work was to explain the Hubble tension by properties of space corresponding to a radially inhomogeneous metrics. A cosmological model described by this perturbed FLRW metric has zero pressure and exponentially expanding space. But the observed space appears to be compressed in the radial direction. We consider the dependence of the change rate of photon energy on the direction of its motion. It is found applying the principle of the photon's energy integral extremum and the relationship between it and the energy of a material particle obtained using Lagrange mechanics. The change rate of a photon's energy varies depending on whether it moves in a radial direction or has an angular component. The metric coefficients are determined by the difference in measurements of the Hubble constant using gravitational lensing and a distance ladder.

Hydrogen and carbon monoxide over-equilibria have been found computationally in kinetic dependencies of methane reforming catalytic reactions (steam and dry reforming) using conditions of the conservatively perturbed equilibrium (CPE) phenomenon, i.e. at the initial equilibrium concentration of hydrogen or carbon monoxide.  The influence of pressure, temperature, flow rate and composition of the initial mixture on the position of the CPE point (the extremum point) was investigated in a wide domain of parameters. It is demonstrated that the CPE phenomenon significantly increases the product concentration (H2 and CO) at the reactor length which is significantly less than the reactor length required to reach the equilibrium. The CPE-point was interpreted as the “turning point” in kinetic behavior.  Recommendations on the temperature and pressure regimes are different from the traditional ones related to the Le Chatelier’s law. Obtained results provide valuable information on optimal reaction conditions for complex reversible chemical transformations, offering potential applications in chemical engineering processes.

The asymptotic behavior of the analytic solutions of a family of singularly perturbed q-difference-differential equations in the complex domain is studied. Different asymptotic expansions with respect to the perturbation parameter and to the time variable are provided: one of Gevrey nature, and another of mixed type Gevrey and q-Gevrey. This asymptotic phenomena is observed due to the modification of the norm established on the space of coefficients of the formal solution. The techniques used are based on the adequate path deformation of the difference of two analytic solutions, and the application of several versions of Ramis-Sibuya theorem.

A family of singularly perturbed q-difference-differential equations under the action of a small complex perturbation parameter is studied. The action of the formal monodromy around the origin is present in the equation, which suggests the construction of holomorphic solutions holding logarithmic terms in both, the formal and the analytic level. We provide both solutions and describe the asymptotic behavior relating them by means of q-gevrey asymptotic expansions of some positive order, with respect to the perturbation parameter. On the way, the development of a space product of Banach spaces in the Borel plane is needed to provide a fixed point for a coupled system of equations.

We apply utilized the extended form of the auxiliary equation method to obtain extensively reliable exact travelling wave solutions of perturbed Gerdjikov–Ivanov equation (GIE) that is widely used as a model in the field theory of quanta and non-linear optics. The method is based on a simple first order second degree ODE. The new form of the approach gives more solutions to the governing equation efficiently.

This study focuses on the formulation and analysis of a numerical method to compute singularly perturbed functional differential equations (SP-FDEs) involving large mixed shifts. SP-FDEs are a class of differential equations with both shifts and small perturbation parameter. Such equations arise in various scientific fields to model phenomena with memory effects and perturbed dynamics. In this particular study, the considered SP-FDEs involve large negative shift (delay) and large positive shift (advance). Dealing with large mixed shifts in SP-FDEs gives rise to challenges in terms of stability analysis, numerical methods, and convergence of a solution. In this paper, the influence of the large mixed shifts is treated by choosing a uniform mesh discretized in such a way that the term with the shifts lie on the nodal points. Then, using the Numerov’s finite difference method, the continuous problem is transformed into a finite difference scheme and the influence of the perturbation parameter is handled by introducing a fitting factor in the difference scheme. Stability estimate and convergence analysis of the developed scheme are investigated and proved. Numerical experiments are carried out to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the developed scheme. It is shown that the numerical scheme obtained in this work is parameter-robust of second order convergence rate.

The main idea of this paper is to investigate the exact solutions and dynamic properties in optical nanofibers, which is modeled by space-time fractional perturbed nonlinear schr\"odinger equation involving Kerr law nonlinearity with conformal fractional derivative. Firstly, by the complex fractional traveling wave transformation, the traveling wave system of the original equation is obtained, then a conserved quantity, namely the Hamiltonian is constructed, and the qualitative analysis of this system is conducted via this quantity by classifying the equilibrium points. Moreover, the prior estimate of the existence of the soliton and periodic solution is established via the bifurcation method. Furthermore, all exact traveling wave solutions are constructed to illustrate our results explicitly by the complete discrimination system for polynomial method.

The article proposes various new approximate analytical solutions of the boundary value prob-lem for the non-stationary system of Nernst-Planck-Poisson (NPP) equations in the diffusion layer of an ideally selective ion-exchange membrane at overlimiting current densities. As is known, the diffusion layer in the general case consists of a space charge region and a region of local electroneutrality. The proposed analytical solutions of the boundary value problems for the non-stationary system of Nernst-Planck-Poisson equations are based on the derivation of a new singularly perturbed nonlinear partial differential equation for the potential in the space charge region (SCR). This equation can be reduced to a singularly perturbed inhomogeneous Burgers equation, which, by the Hopf-Cole transformation, is reduced to an inhomogeneous singularly perturbed linear equation of parabolic type. Inside the extended SCR, there is a suffi-ciently accurate analytical approximation to the solution of the original boundary value prob-lem. The electroneutrality region has a curvilinear boundary with the SCR, and with an un-known boundary condition on it. The article proposes a solution to this problem. The new ana-lytical solution methods developed in the article can be used to study non-stationary boundary value problems of salt ion transfer in membrane systems.

In this paper, the new optical wave solutions of truncated M-fractional perturbed Kundu-Eckhaus model with full non-linearity are obtained by utilizing the expa function technique and modified extended tanh expansion function technique. The solutions are in the form of dark soliton, bright soliton, singular solitons and other form of solutions. The gained solutions are helpful for the further development of concerned model. The obtained results have also been presented graphically in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional formats to discuss the dynamical features as well as the parametric dependence of the constructed solutions. The study offers a highly spectacular and acceptable techniques to combine various intriguing wave demonstrations for more sophisticated models of the modern day.
