- Subtract the 8-06-2023 NIR raster from the 8-14-2023 NIR raster. Minimum and maximum display values were selected to accentuate the display of wetter conditions guided by the magnitude of the differences visible for NIR in Figure 4.

- The resulting dark pattern was then compared against other variables across the AOI to ensure that this pattern was not explainable by some other image property – none were found.

- The analysis supports the conclusion that the AOI received rainfall from a localized thunderstorm likely within several days prior to 8-14-2023.
