Query reformulation is a fundamental task in information retrieval systems aimed at improving the accuracy and relevance of search results. This abstract presents a query reformulation approach that utilizes a domain-specific ontology to enhance the effectiveness of query reformulation. The use of ontology enables a more precise understanding of the domain and its associated concepts, leading to more accurate query interpretation and reformulation. The proposed approach consists of two main steps: ontology-based query interpretation and ontology-guided query expansion. The proposed approach use Power thesaurus tool that perform sentiment analysis for suggestion of the synonyms of the query words to improve the accuracy of the retrieved results. The proposed methodology gives high accuracy as compared to the previous approaches that used Wordnet for the suggestions of synonyms. The proposed approach demonstrates the potential of utilizing ontologies in query reformulation, offering a more accurate and context-aware search experience in domain-specific information retrieval systems.

Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs) play an important role in the technological era by enabling wireless communication in dynamic and infrastructure-free contexts. Because of Manet’s unique qualities and decentralized nature, MANETs are subject to many attacks such as the Blackhole attack, grey hole attack, Byzantine attack, Wormhole attack, and Sybil attack. Sybil attacks pose a substantial risk to MANETs. A Sybil attack occurs when a malicious node impersonates many identities inside the network, resulting in the creation of multiple suspicious nodes that appear as independent entities. This study presents a thorough analysis of the literature on the detection of Sybil attacks on MANETs. To find gaps in the literature, current surveys are also looked at. Also taken into consideration are several contemporary systems built on distinct techniques. In terms of throughput, detection rate, low energy consumption, packet delivery ratio, and end-to-end latency, some recent methods-based approaches are also evaluated severely. To address the stated state-of-the-art issues in Sybil attack detection, this paper suggests ML-based strategies as the most suitable answer. Machine learning has huge potential for effective wireless network management. According to the researcher, this is the first comprehensive assessment of ML-based techniques for Sybil attack detection in wireless networks. Finally, we considered the unsolved issues in Sybil assault detection in wireless networks.

Due to the advancement and availability of internet in present age, device tend to become wireless as well. Mobile ad-hoc network is a wireless environment that consist of advanced agility of nodes and does not contain on any central administrative authority. As it does not contain any central administrative authority so being wireless environment, the network is vulnerable to security threats and suffers in performance as well. Security of MANET is the core issue in this era, meanwhile the data is sent over untrustworthy network. Several techniques were proposed to secure data over Mobile Adhoc Network though cryptography that is one of the most reliable techniques to protect data. In our proposed methodology a Secure Cryptographic technique for Mobile Adhoc Networks (SCTMA) we proposed A Collusion attack prevention (CAP) scheme with ElGamal key generator along with DNA encryption Algorithm is used to make it more secure. The proposed scheme protects the network against collusion attacks and improves the performance as well. Performance analysis will be measured on the basis of key generation time, response time, encryption time and decryption time. The proposed scheme also protects the network against collusion attacks.

Blockchain is a decentralized data management platform that offers data integrity, security, and anonymity without the involvement of a third party. This work presents a comprehensive study of blockchain-based data storage system and their security concerns with their solutions to address these concerns. We provide a thorough overview of how blockchain is used in the cloud computing model to provide security services, and we examine the research trends of blockchain-related technologies in the current cloud computing models. As we examine, we also quickly look into how cloud computing may impact blockchain, particularly the performance enhancements that cloud computing may offer. This paper performs a review of the cutting-edge investigations of the blockchain-based system with a selfish-mining attack and the primary focus on IPFS. We also note their challenges, open issues, and future directions. The findings demonstrate that blockchain offers a productive platform in this area. However, one of the most significant problems that still need more research is security-related issues. The article offers a platform for future research and action as well.

This, amongst others, is a critical problem that needs to be addressed. The unique features of a cryptographic hash function, including immutability, efficient verification, and anonymity, make it a transformative technology that has the potential to address the mentioned challenges in various sectors. This disruptive technology offers solutions by ensuring data integrity, enabling quick verification, and preserving privacy. The findings suggest that employing Cryptographic Hash Functions to share customer data among logistics partners offers robust protection against cyber-attacks. The proposed system guarantees asset security, and as demonstrated by the case study evaluation, exhibits strong resilience in safeguarding against various security and privacy threats. Although this study is significant, it does have limitations. One of these limitations is the considerable overlap between logistics research and supply chain management (SCM). While our focus was on logistics tasks, we did not extensively delve into the broader context of SCM

However, the high cost of training and slow detection pose significant challenges to the practicality and real-time performance of existing methods. These challenges hinder the practicality and real-time performance of existing methods. The need for a reliable and efficient moving object detection system prompts the search for cost-effective strategies. Enhancing detection speed without sacrificing accuracy is crucial for real-time applications. Overcoming these challenges is essential to advance the field of moving object detection and improve its applicability in various domains. This paper presents a comprehensive review of the literature on moving object detection, proposes novel strategies to overcome the challenges of high training costs and slow detection. The study emphasizes the importance of reliable speed monitoring systems and advancements in control systems to enhance driver assistance on urban highways. Each frame in the dataset undergoes YOLOv6 processing to detect and classify objects, generating bounding box predictions and class probabilities. Optical flow, specifically the Lucas-Kanade method, is then utilized to compute motion vectors between consecutive frames. These motion vectors facilitate object tracking across frames, enabling refined bounding box positions and improving overall object tracking accuracy. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed technique in reducing training costs, improving detection speed, and maintaining a high level of accuracy when compared to existing methods. The paper concludes by summarizing the findings and highlighting the potential of the proposed strategy for precise and reliable moving object recognition in real-world traffic scenarios

Over the last few decades, there is a remarkable increase in air traffic worldwide; however, despite of rapid technological development and improved airport infrastructure, there is still an increasing number of aviation accidents and fatalities. In order to meet safety demands of Air Traffic Control (ATC), Machine Learning (ML) based aircraft conflict detection techniques are focused to predict events before they come to reality. This research presents a systematic literature review (SLR) about the applications of ML techniques in safety prediction of ATC system. Initially, the existing aircraft conflict prediction models are classified into three broad categories; logical, geometric and probabilistic. A formal process of SLR is then conducted which is initiated with preprocessing and effective searching. A series of filtering called title, abstract and objective-based are then applied to extract the most relevant articles. Detailed and critical reviews of selected articles are performed to identify challenges which are segregated into dataset, model and evaluation techniques, furthermore, the optimal solutions for each are proposed. Finally the matrices to map the identified challenged with their proposed solutions are constructed. This research serves as a foundation for future research and towards integration of ML based safety prediction techniques into modern ATC system.

The function of message communication is becoming more popular as for mobile phone users, a short messaging service (SMS) requires an extremely high level of security. Any SMS that enters a person's smartphone must be considered a private affair, with privacy and security safeguarded. This research study found a novel Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) Cryptography method that uses a dynamic DNA sequence table to increase security. Cryptography is a popular approach for ensuring the confidentiality of a message. This paper proposed an Efficient Cryptographic Scheme for SMS (ECSS) algorithm to protect texts received from an Android smartphone. ECSS-based encryption has been identified as a novel method of securing information in the form of DNA molecules that employ DNA strands to conceal the information. This Paper provides the DNA cryptography approach for encrypting and decrypting plain texts in this work. The primary goal of ECSS cryptography is to guarantee secrecy when people transfer data across a network. This paper examines DNA Crypto, the distinction between classical cryptography and DNA Data encryption. An Android-based app is created to perform the proposed technique and the results show that the algorithms produce a consistent encryption result in which the length of the message before encryption is always the same as the length of the message after decryption. The suggested security solution has the potential to greatly improve the security of mobile communication. This Paper also provides experimental results for our chat application performance, such as received text message correctness, cipher text, average encryption time and average decryption time. According to the findings/results of this study, the speed of average encryption and decryption of the description is roughly 0.011 and 0.037 sec and prevents plaintext and dictionary attacks.

The rise in dependency upon information present on web and social networks has increased the importance of content credibility systems. These sys- tems can help the users to make a right decision related to buying a product, utiliz- ing a service and etc. Application areas including social network blogs of different subjects such as health, food, education, politics and product review/ratings some- times suffer incredible and wrong information flow. The content credibility sys- tems can help users to identify the credible information on these various forums. Recently, researchers have proposed certain mechanisms for these systems, out of which reputation based systems have gained most attention. However, reputa- tion systems are vulnerable to reputation based attacks, like Sybil, Slandering, and Whitewash promoting spread of wrong information. The authors have proposed a defense mechanism against these attacks that is based upon Bayesian Model. The proposed defense mechanism provides protection against these attacks so that fake or wrong information could be prevented. The authors evaluated the proposed mechanism in three different scenarios and presented the results in terms of pre- cision, recall and rate of change in rank. The results reveal almost 88%prevention against these attacks in comparison to the baseline systems.

The Internet of Things (also known as IoT), a revolution, has enhanced the relevance of mobile employees' job efficiency in mobile crowd sensing (MCS). Incentives based on reputation for mobile workers (MW) play an important role in increasing service utilization, motivating mobile employees, and developing confidence in the service. The cell phone is the most exploited entity in mobile crowd-sensing MCS and cloud computing. In the underlying investigation, we observed that they had not evaluated the complexity level of a task, resulting in a strong reputation for executing multiple basic tasks. A person who completes a tough task may have a lower reputation score. Complexity levels of tasks (CLT) were developed for reputation evaluation on a crowd-sensing network, which would be utilized to evaluate the MW reputation. We offered simple and complex levels of challenges to assess reputation scores. Tasks receive incentives based on their reputation. By measuring reputation on (CLT) complexity level of task, this research will help the system to Maintain the reputation of the mobile worker so that entities of the system get the maximum benefit out of it, by hiring well-reputed mobile workers and MW receive an incentive on it. Furthermore, we conduct a comparative analysis between our scheme and various machine learning algorithms to identify the algorithm that best performs in evaluating task complexity. Considering both the simple and complex reputation scores, the comparison suggests that after analyzing the data, it is clear that the CLT (proposed) scheme and the Linear regression scheme not only outperformed the Neural Network scheme in terms of Complex Reputation Scores but also in terms of Simple Reputation Scores. We also apply statistical tests, such as p-tests and t-tests, to determine the significance of the results obtained from different algorithms. Considering MW 308, MW 345, and MW 1045's efforts and abilities, the MCS system may offer incentives and awards to further motivate and consider their continuing contributions. This reputation-based incentivization technique not only encourages strong competition among mobile workers, but also makes sure the delivery of high-quality services inside the MCS system.
