- Digital Tools (ICT): H5P and Wooclap were employed through the Moodle Virtual Campus platform.
- Data Collection: Equivalent datasets were compiled and compared across the two academic years.
- Access to H5P Content: An interactive flipped video covering the study material was uploaded to the Virtual Campus via a URL. Students had five days of pre-class access to the content and could view the videos as many times as desired.
- Video Duration: Video length varied according to topic. On average, the content was delivered in two videos of approximately 10–15 minutes each, totaling 30 minutes per module.
- Engagement Tracking (H5P): Each complete video visualization was logged by the platform, which tracked access time, number of views, and time spent on preparation.
- Feedback Surveys (Wooclap): Wooclap enabled the collection of student feedback throughout the learning process. It was used to monitor attendance during in-person discussion sessions, facilitate cognitive exercises and formative assessments, and conduct spot polls regarding preparation time and content utilization. At the beginning of face-to-face sessions, surveys were conducted to assess the perceived usefulness of H5P interactive videos. A total of 122 students participated in the experience survey in 2023/24, and 152 students participated in 2024/25.

- In 2023/24, scores from active learning tasks were added to students’ final grades for the module’s standard exam.

- In 2024/25, continuous assessment was introduced. Grades from cognitive exercises and formative assessments during classroom sessions contributed directly to the final course evaluation, and there was the possibility of exempting specific content areas. Four cognitive levels were established for face-to-face class exercises and formative assessments [17].
