- Inpatient mortality: Patients with AC and active CDI had a significantly higher inpatient mortality rate than those without CDI (8.45% vs 0.90%, p<0.0001)
- Hospital length of stay (LOS): Hospital stays for patients with AC and concurrent CDI were noticeably longer (16.32 vs 4.61days) than those without CDI. Table 2 includes all the outcomes in detail.
