Abstract
Host immunological pathways can be categorized into IgM dominant innate immunological pathways, IgG dominant eradicable adaptive immunological pathways, and IgA dominant tolerable adaptive immunological pathways. The tolerable adaptive immune responses can be TH9, TH17, TH3, and TH4. Here, I further discuss the key cytokine in the TH4 immune response is interleukin-2. Once we know the whole framework of host immunological pathways, we can develop better prevention and control strategies combating infectious diseases and autoimmune disorders.
