| 1 | The RMSEA value of 0.105 slightly exceeded the preferred threshold of 0.08; however, several considerations support model acceptability. First, the 90% confidence interval (0.091–0.119) indicated reasonable precision. Second, complementary fit indices demonstrated adequate fit (CFI = 0.979, TLI = 0.971, SRMR = 0.025). Third, cross-cultural measurement models with multiple latent constructs and diverse samples often exhibit an elevated RMSEA due to model complexity and population heterogeneity. Following recommendations to evaluate model fit holistically rather than relying on single cutoffs, the overall pattern of indices supports acceptable model fit for the current research purposes. |
