Abstract

The Impact of the Covid 19 Pandemic on the Freedom of Expression and Freedom of Religion. A Research on how was his perceived by Christian Romanians who Regularly Attend Religious Services. The global crisis generated by the Covid 19 pandemic has brought with it, among other things, a series of significant restrictions on some fundamental rights, such as freedom of religion and freedom of expression. The present study, based on a both quantitative and qualitative research, examines the perception of people who regularly attend religious services of different Christian denominations in Romania, regarding the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on these freedoms guaranteed by international conventions and declarations on human rights, as well as by the Romanian Constitution and legislation, but severely restricted for a considerable period of time.
