Wellbeing-Health: A Mathematical Model for Early Stress Detection and Well-Being Assessment

Abstract
Stress is an unavoidable part of modern life, caused by major challenges like illness or financial hardship as well as everyday pressures such as work demands, conflicts, and constant digital distractions. Many people fail to recognize stress or do not know how to manage it, allowing it to harm both physical and mental health over time. Long-term stress can weaken the immune system, slow recovery and wound healing, increase illness risk, and reduce overall well-being and quality of life. Because well-being depends on the balance between stress, immunity, emotional resilience, and environmental demands, effective stress management is essential for maintaining both mental stability and a healthy immune system. This paper presents Wellbeing-Health, a mathematical modeling framework and assessment tool designed for early stress detection and personalized well-being evaluation. The system analyzes users’ emotional states, situational context, lifestyle factors, and health history including immune system to estimate stress levels, overall well-being, and the likelihood of illness following pathogen exposure. By enabling regular self-assessment, the tool supports early intervention, personalized guidance, and improved self-monitoring of emotional and health patterns. It also provides alerts on significant changes in well-being and recommends professional support when necessary. Currently being finalized as a web application, Wellbeing-Health aims to promote resilience, balanced immune function, and proactive health management in everyday life.
