Preprints.org First Decade of Open Research Sharing, Together

Conceived long before its launch, the idea behind Preprints.org dates back to 1998, when MDPI registered the domain www.preprints.net and planned a service to collect draft manuscripts. The idea was realized in 2016 with the launch of Preprints.org.
Ten years later, we have grown into a global platform where researchers share work, exchange feedback, and advance open knowledge together. As we celebrate our first decade, we look back at what the community has built and invite you to join us with what comes next.

Celebrate Our 10th Anniversary with Your Message

You are fundamental in a world where freedom needs a voice to continue existing, and you are that voice. I'm deeply grateful to you for the opportunity you gave me. Science is an act of love for humanity, and what you have been to the world is a channel for this love. Thought is an act of resistance

Very helpful. Before preprint servers, independent researchers voices were stifled and I'm guessing that many interesting, novel and important ideas were never shared or pursued. There is feedback, and interest from peers, you are assigned priority. Staff are very helpful too. Great site.
