Thin film transistors (TFTs) using In-Ga-Zn Oxide (IGZO) as active layer and the gate insulator was treated with NH3 plasma and N2O plasma, respectively, which is fabricated on flexible PI substrate in this work. The performance of IGZO TFTs with different plasma species and treatment time are investigated and compared. The experiment results show that the plasma species and treatment time play an important role in the threshold voltage, field-effect mobility, Ion/Ioff ratio, sub-threshold swing (SS) and bias stress stability of the devices. The TFT with a 10 seconds NH3 plasma treatment shows the best performance; specifically, threshold voltage of 0.34 V, field-effect mobility of 15.97 cm2/Vs, Ion/Ioff ratio of 6.33×107, and sub-threshold swing of 0.36 V/dec. The proposed flexible IGZO-TFTs in this paper can be used as driving devices in the next-generation flexible displays.

Existing evidence suggest that lactoferrin might be beneficial for Alzheimer’s disease. We aimed to determine the effects of lactoferrin intervention on cognitive function from APP/PS1 mice, and possible mechanisms involved in. Both young and middle-aged male APP/PS1 mice were divided into control and lactoferrin group with 16 weeks’ intervention. Lactoferrin intervention had no effects on cognitive function from both young and middle-aged mice, and no key markers involved in Aβ, tau pathology, neuro-inflammation and synaptic plasticity were altered post lactoferrin intervention. In regards to gut microbiota profiles, in the young mice, lactoferrin elevated α diversity index including ACE and Chao 1, and reduced the relative abundance of the genera Bacteroides and Alistipes and elevated Oscillibacter, in addition, Oscillibacter, Anaerotruncus, EF096579_g, EU454405_g, Mollicutes_RF39, EU474361_g, EU774448_g, and EF096976_g were specifically abundant post Lf intervention via LEfSe analysis. In the middle-aged mice, the relative abundance of the phylum Proteobacteria, as well as the genera Oscillospira, Coprococcus and Ruminococcus was significantly reduced post Lf intervention, additionally, S24_7, Bacteroidia, Bacteroidetes and Methylobacterium were specific via LEfSe analysis post lactoferrin intervention. In conclusion, dietary lactoferrin might be beneficial for gut microbiota homeostasis although might have no effects on cognition.

Adding a submerged zone (SZ) is deemed to promote denitrification during dry periods and thus improve NO3--N removal efficiency of a bioretention system. However, few studies had investigated the variation of nitrogen concentration in the SZ during dry periods and evaluated the effect of the variation on nitrogen removal of the bioretention system. Based on the experiment in a mesocosm bioretetion system with SZ, this study investigated the variation of nitrogen concentration of the system under 17 consecutive cycles of wet and dry alternation with varied rainfall amount, influent nitrogen concentration and antecedent dry periods (ADP). The results indicated that (1) during the dry periods, NH4+-N concentrations in SZ showed an exponential decline trend, decreasing by 50% in 12.9 ± 7.3 hours; while NO3--N concentrations showed an inverse S-shape decline trend, decreasing by 50% in 18.8 ± 6.4 hours; (2) during the wet periods, NO3--N concentration in the effluent showed an S-shape upward trend; and at the early stage of the wet periods, the concentration was relatively low and significantly correlated with ADP, while the corresponding volume of the effluent was significantly correlated with the SZ depth; (3) in the whole experiment, the contribution of nitrogen decrease in SZ during dry periods to NH4+-N and NO3--N removal accounted for 12% and 92%, respectively; and the decrease of NO3--N in SZ during the dry period was correlated with the influent concentration in the wet period and the length of the dry period.

The digital orthophoto is an image with geometric accuracy and no distortion. It is acquired through a top view of the scene and finds widespread applications in map creation, planning, and related fields.This paper classifies the algorithms for digital orthophoto generation into two groups: explicit methods and implicit methods. Explicit methods rely on traditional geometric methods, obtaining geometric structure presented by explicit parameters with Multi-View Stereo (MVS) theories, as seen in our proposed Top view constrained Dense Matching (TDM). Implicit methods rely on neural rendering, obtaining implicit neural representation of scenes through the training of neural networks, as exemplified by Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF). Both of them obtain digital orthophoto by rendering from a top view perspective. In addition, this paper conducts an in-depth comparative study between explicit and implicit methods. The experiments demonstrate that both algorithms meet the measurement accuracy requirements and exhibit a similar level of quality in terms of generated results. Importantly, the explicit method shows a significant advantage in terms of efficiency, with a time consumption reduction of two orders of magnitude under our latest CUDA version TDM algorithm. Although explicit and implicit methods differ significantly in their representation forms, they share commonalities in the implementation across algorithmic stages. These findings highlight the potential advantages of explicit methods in orthophoto generation, while also providing beneficial references and practical guidance for the fast digital orthophoto generation using implicit methods.

Amidst China's new economic normal, the real economy faces various domestic and global challenges. Technological innovation, with its capital intensity and uncertain returns, is crucial to rejuvenate emerging industries and revamp the industrial structure. Meanwhile, financial agglomeration plays a dual role: directly fostering real economic development and indirectly affecting it through technological innovation. This study analyzes data from 30 mainland Chinese provinces and cities between 2011 and 2018, utilizing fuzzy matter-element analysis and location entropy method. Relying on a spatial econometric model, we explore the impact of technological innovation and financial clustering on real economic growth, including spatial ripple effects. The conclusions are derived from Chinese evidence and offer valuable insights into the evolving innovation and financial dynamics within the participating nations.
