Usually in quantum optics, the theory of large- and small-scale waveguide beam splitters is the same. In this paper it is shown that the theory of the nanoscale waveguide beamsplitter has a significant difference from a similar device, but of a larger scale. It is shown that the previously known theory of the waveguide beam splitter is a particular case of the theory presented here. The wave function at the output ports of the nanoscale beam splitter is analyzed. The results obtained are sensitive to the size of the beam splitter, the coupling parameter of the two waveguides, and the degree of nonmonochromaticity of the photons entering the first and second ports of the beam splitter. The results are important for quantum technologies using a nanosized beam splitter.

Spontaneous parametric downconversion At the heart of all quantum optics experiments is called as Spontaneous parametric downconversion. This is a downconversion process when the output frequency is smaller than the input frequency. The whole process is Spontaneous. Experimentally we have to downconvert the photons and convert them into pairs of a photon. We use the Beta-barium borate(BBO) crystals to downconvert the coming violet-blue laser. We find the maximum number of counts on detectors and their coincidence. When the BBO crystals is well aligned, we find no difference in detecting vertically or horizontally polarized photons because they are orthogonal to each other. Proof of existence of photons We want to investigate the properties and verification of quantization of light. Experimently we want to establish the existence of single photon which shows the grainy-ness of individual photon quantum mechanically and shows wave like behaviour classically. We get the coincidences counts on detectors with addition of detector B’ by using PBS in the path of signal beam. Experimentally we prove the Quantum as well as classical nature of light by the measurement of second-order degree coherence in light g²(0). For classically the g²(0)≥1 and quantum mechanically g²(0)=0.When we add the delay time interval of 1ns after reflected and transmitted photons from PBS signal beam. The delay generator did not create a significant difference in the coincidence counts detection in the value of g²(τ ). Single photon interference and quantum eraser we want to observe the interference by making the single photons pass through the interferometer, and we will see the interference of the single photons. If the light passes through the interferometer, the visibility of the interference pattern to which extent these fringes are observed is dependent on the extent to which the ’which-way’ or ’which-path’ information is available to the experimenter. If the observer knows the information about the ’which-way’ of the light path, then we cannot observe the inference pattern. Because we only can make an interference pattern if we erase the which-way information of the light path. If you erase the information about the’ which-way,’ we can observe a very high interference pattern. We can erase the information about the light path’s ’which-way’ or ’which-path’ by using a polarizer and orienting at 45^o. In this way, we can observe a very high pattern. If we introduce the angle of the polarizer at 0^o or 90^o, we see very low interference.

Maximal quantum correlations of unity do not violate the CSHS-Bell inequalities because the remaining two correlations vanish. The probability of coincident detections should not be confused with the correlation of mixed states. The theoretical requirements for implementing the quantum nonlocality theory are not present in the experimental configurations purporting to prove Bohr’s or Bell’s nonlocality because of the quantum Rayleigh scattering of single photons. By means of a normalization factor corresponding to the total number of initiated events, the detection probabilities obtained experimentally are too small to enable any violation of a Bell inequality. Correlations between independent states of qubits can easily outperform those calculated with entangled photons. Additionally, the quantum joint probability for a Bell state can be factorized enabling a local detection of the alleged quantum nonlocality, if it existed. © The Author 2023

In this paper we report the results obtained in experiment PHELEX during 208 days of measurements on the search for dark photons with a multi-cathode counter with an iron cathode that revealed in 4 runs with a confidence level better than 5 σ a systematic excess of single electron events in the time interval from 8-00 till 12-00 sidereal time. The fact that we see this effect in stellar frame and do not in solar frame can be considered as evidence that the observed effect is due to dark photons.

We show how it is possible to define and study black holes of arbitrary shapes in the framework of Newtonian mechanics.

The energy loss of photons due to the cosmological red shift is interpreted, here, as a periodical process of transferring electromagnetic field energy into the space. The transferred energy portions are independent on photon energy if this transfer occurs with their frequency. The amounts of periodically released energy are so small that the related ultra-long wave length photons have to be understood as perfectly delocalized. Thus, the described point of view bridges the quantum micro cosmos with the macro cosmos. It is proposed to regard this energy exchange as a typical property of universal time arrow and to interpret the “large numbers”, in particular the dimensionless reciprocal of product of Hubbles constant and Planck time as the fundamental parameter describing cosmic evolution.

An approximation-free and fully quantum optic formalism for parametric processes is presented. Phase-dependent gain coefficients and related phase-pulling effects are identified for quantum Rayleigh emission and the electro-optic conversion of photons providing parametric amplification in small scale integration of photonic devices. These mechanisms can be manipulated to deliver, simultaneously, sub-Poissonian distributions of photons as well as phase-dependent amplification in the same optical quadrature of a signal field.

Misconception in using terms photon and electron exists in science. When the electron of outer ring in silicon atom executes interstate dynamics for only one cycle, it generates force and energy for the unit photon. Interstate dynamics of the electron for one forward and reverse cycle generate the overt photon having the least measured length. When the photon of suitable length interacts with the side of laterally orientated electron of an atom, it converts into the heat energy. Under the approximate angle of 90º, when a photon interacts with the tip of laterally orientated electron, it divides into the bits of energy having a shape like integral symbols. In the neutral state silicon atom, the centre acts as the reference point for electrons executing interstate dynamics and the lateral lengths of the electrons remains along the north-south poles. Under the availability of energy and force, the energy wraps around the force shaping along the tracing trajectory of electron dynamics in a silicon atom. A force is being shaped from the sides of electron not experiencing the exertions of forces. In interstate dynamics, electron of the outer ring first reaches the ‘maximum limit point’, where energy of one bit is utilized wrapping around the shaping force along its tracing trajectory. From the ‘maximum limit point’, electron completes the second half cycle dealing with relevant forces, where again energy of one bit is wrapped around the shaping force along the tracing trajectory. The shape of unit photon is like ‘Gaussian distribution of turned ends’. Under the uninterrupted heat energy for the silicon atom, an electron dynamics generates the photon having a shape like wave. Path independent but interstate dependent forces take over the control of electron. That electron executes dynamics nearly in the speed of light. In confined interstate dynamics, naturally viable conservative forces exert to the position-acquiring electron. A photon can be in the continuous and unending length if the electron dynamics remains uninterrupted. Having not made contact with states limiting the forces at work, the changing aspect of electron recalls auxiliary moment of inertia at each point of turning. By executing electron dynamics, atoms under neutral states generate photons of different shapes, so revealing the phenomena of heat and photon energy.

The presence of the quantum Rayleigh scattering, or spontaneous emission, inside a dielectric medium such as a beam splitter or an interferometric filter, prevents a single-photon from propagating in a straight-line. Modelling a beam splitter by means of a unitary transformation is physically meaningless because of the loss of photons. Additional missing elements from the conventional theory are: 1) the quantum Rayleigh stimulated emission which can form groups of photons of the same frequencies, and 2) the unavoidable parametric amplification of single-photons in the original parametric crystal. An interference filter disturbs, through multiple internal reflections, the original stream of single-photons, thereby confirming the existence of groups of photons being spread out to lengthen the coherence time. The approach of modelling individual, single measurements with statistical ensemble probability amplitudes leads to the counterintuitive explanations of the experimental outcomes and should be replaced with pure states describing instantaneous measurements which are afterwards averaged.

Three physical elements are missing from the conventional formalism of quantum photonics: 1) the quantum Rayleigh spontaneous and stimulated emissions; 2) the unavoidable parametric amplification; and 3) the mixed time-frequency spectral structure of a photonic field which specifies its duration or spatial extent. As a single photon enters a dielectric medium, the quantum Rayleigh scattering prevents it from propagating in a straight-line, thereby destroying any possible entanglement. A pure dynamic and coherent state composed of two consecutive number states, delivers the correct expectation values for the number of photons carried by a photonic wave front, its complex optical field, and phase quadratures. The intrinsic longitudinal and lateral field profiles associated with a group of photons for any instantaneous number of photons are independent of the source. These photonic properties enable a step-by-step analysis of the correlation functions characterizing counting of coincident numbers of photons or intensities with unity visibility interference, spanning the classical and quantum optic regimes

We propose that, at equilibrium, statistically equal temperatures as mechanical torques are exerted on each kind of gas phase molecules as rates of translational action [@t=ʃmvds/dt=ʃmr2ωdϕ/dt=mv2, J]. These torques result from the impulsive density of resonant quantum fields with molecules, configuring the trajectories of gas molecules while balancing molecular pressure (p=NkT) against the density of field energy (J/m3). Gibbs energy fields contain no resonant quanta at zero Kelvin, with this measure of chemical potential diminishing in magnitude as translational action of the vapor molecules and quantum field energy increases with temperature. In illustration, we show how impulsive torques from quantum fields drive the reversible thermodynamics of Carnot’s heat-work engine cycle, sustain the decreasing atmospheric temperature gradient of increasing molecular entropy with altitude, support the translational action and field energy of vortical wind flow in anticyclones, frictionally warming the Earth’s surface while recycling greenhouse infrared absorption of surface radiation, generating electrical power from air flow in wind farms and destructive power in tropical cyclones. These cases all distinguish symmetrically between a causal field of impulsive quanta (Σhν) that energizes the action of matter and the resultant vis viva of molecular mechanics (mv2). The quanta of these different fields display mean wavelengths from 10-4 m to 1012 m, with mechanical advantages many orders of magnitude greater than the corresponding translational actions, though with mean quantum frequencies (v) similar to those of radial Brownian movement for independent particles (ω). These energy fields are also thermodynamically reversible reservoirs for heat, optimizing work processes on Earth and delaying the achievement of maximum entropy production from short wave solar radiation in conversion to outgoing long wave radiation to space.
