Supply chain agility and resilience are key factors for the success of manufacturing companies in their attempt to respond to dynamic changes. Circular economy, the need for optimized material flows, ad-hoc responses and personalization are some of the trends that require supply chains to become “cognitive”, i.e. able to predict trends and flexible enough in dynamic environments, ensuring optimized operational performance. Digital Twins (DTs) is a promising technology, and a lot of work is done on the factory level. In this paper, the concept of Cognitive Digital Twins (CDTs) and how they can be deployed in connected and agile supply chains is elaborated. The need for CDTs in the supply chain as well as the main CDT enablers and how they can be deployed under an operational model in agile networks is described. Emphasis is given on the modelling, cognition and governance aspects as well as on how a supply chain can be configured as a network of connected CDTs. Finally, a deployment methodology of the developed model into an example of a circular supply chain is proposed.

Organizational culture emerges as a critical factor in successful agile procurement, with leadership support and a collaborative environment driving cultural change towards agility and innovation. Despite its benefits, challenges such as resistance to change and the need for significant technology investments are identified, requiring careful change management and strategic alignment. Case studies illustrate the versatility of agile procurement across sectors, showcasing its role in enhancing operational efficiencies, innovation capabilities, and overall supply chain performance. In conclusion, agile procurement offers organizations a strategic framework to navigate complexities and uncertainties effectively, capitalizing on market opportunities while mitigating risks. Embracing agile principles fosters a resilient organizational culture capable of adapting to dynamic market conditions. Future research should focus on further refining agile procurement strategies to address emerging challenges and sustain competitive advantage in the global marketplace.

This qualitative research investigates how supply chain innovations drive marketing differentiation in consumer goods companies. In a competitive global marketplace, firms are increasingly leveraging advanced supply chain management (SCM) practices to enhance operational efficiency and create distinctive market positions. The study explores five key supply chain innovations—digitalization, sustainability practices, predictive analytics, agile supply chain models, and collaborative partnerships—and their impact on marketing differentiation strategies. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 20 executives and managers from leading consumer goods companies, analyzing themes related to innovation adoption, challenges, and outcomes. Findings indicate that digital technologies such as IoT, AI, and blockchain are pivotal in improving supply chain visibility, optimizing inventory management, and enabling real-time decision-making, thereby supporting personalized customer experiences and agile responses to market dynamics. Sustainability practices, including sustainable sourcing and green logistics, emerge as critical drivers of brand reputation and consumer trust, aligning with growing consumer preferences for eco-friendly products. Predictive analytics facilitate better demand forecasting and pricing strategies, while agile supply chain models enhance flexibility and responsiveness in delivering products faster to market. Despite benefits, challenges include integrating innovations with legacy systems, managing resistance to change, and addressing data security concerns. Strategies for overcoming these barriers include leadership commitment, cross-functional collaboration, talent development, and strategic partnerships. By embracing these strategies and innovations, consumer goods companies can strengthen their competitive positioning, enhance customer satisfaction, and achieve sustainable growth in a rapidly evolving marketplace.

The Agile Building Adaptation (AgiBuild) framework is the adoption and adaptation of the large-scale agile framework for building adaptation projects. The agile methodology is proven to drive innovation by focusing on adaptation to change and user centricity. Similarly, the authors envision that the AgiBuild framework can fundamentally change the way that buildings are re-designed, refurbished, and operated. The AgiBuild framework is developed from the need of the building adaptation industry to manage uncertainties, overcome communication barriers, and improve innovation. In this study, a literature review of Agile and its impact on building adaptation projects is undertaken. Based on this systematic literature review, this paper defines the AgiBuilt framework and provides its benefits and barriers to implementation. A key finding of the literature review is that leadership influence, and adequate training form the key foundation for the implementation of the AgiBuild Framework. In defining the AgiBuild framework, the paper describes its components and how its implementation is likely to proceed. The authors propose that by adopting the AgiBuild framework, the industry can transform itself into a highly innovative and user-centred industry to improve productivity and performance of the construction industry..

This qualitative study explores the relationship between supply chain responsiveness (SCR) and customer loyalty within the e-commerce sector. E-commerce has revolutionized global commerce, driven by technological advancements and shifting consumer behaviors. Central to e-commerce success is the ability to meet customer expectations swiftly and reliably, necessitating agile supply chain management (SCM) practices. SCR in e-commerce encompasses the capacity to adapt to dynamic market demands, minimize disruptions, and enhance customer satisfaction through efficient logistics, inventory management, and last-mile delivery. Through in-depth interviews with customers, e-commerce platform managers, and supply chain practitioners, this study investigates key themes, challenges, strategies, and impacts associated with SCR and customer loyalty. Findings reveal that customers prioritize fast order fulfillment, reliable service quality, personalized experiences, and trustworthy interactions, all of which significantly influence their loyalty and advocacy behaviors. Challenges identified include inventory management complexities, logistical hurdles in last-mile delivery, and the need for effective supplier communication. Strategic approaches to enhance SCR include leveraging data analytics for demand forecasting, adopting agile SCM practices, integrating customer feedback into service improvements, and fostering collaborative relationships with suppliers. These strategies not only optimize operational efficiency but also cultivate enduring customer relationships based on satisfaction, trust, and loyalty. The study concludes that improved SCR practices lead to increased customer satisfaction, repeat purchases, and positive word-of-mouth, thereby strengthening competitive advantage and sustainability in the e-commerce marketplace.

Agile methods promise to achieve high productivity and provide high-quality software. Agile software development is the most important approach that has spread through the world of software development over the past decade. Software team productivity measurement is essential in agile teams to increase the performance of software development. Due to the prevalence of agile methodologies and increasing competition of software development companies, software team productivity has become one of the crucial challenges for agile software companies and teams. Awareness of the level of team productivity can help them to achieve better estimation results on the time and cost of the projects. However, to measure software productivity, there is no definitive solution or approach whether in traditional and agile software development teams that lead to the occurrence of many problems in achieving a reliable definition of software productivity. Hence, this study aims to propose a statistical model to assess the team’s productivity in agile teams. A survey was conducted with forty software companies and measured the impact of six factors of the team on productivity in these companies. The results show that team effectiveness factors including inter-team relationship, quality conformance by the team, team vision, team leader, and requirements handled by the team had a significant impact on the team’s productivity. Moreover, the results also state that inter-team relations affect the most on software teams’ productivity. Finally, the model fit test showed that 80% of productivity depends on team effectiveness factors.

Abstract—The management of zakat in several mosques is still carried out using a manual system, which can cause the loss of some zakat recipient data and the calculation of funds that have been received by zakat recipients. The manual system is also considered less efficient for managing large amounts of data. To overcome this renowned problem, a Zakat management infor- mation system was designed. Agile methods are used in system development. It is hoped that this system will provide convenience to mosque administrators in managing zakat. Through E-Learning online learning is becoming increasingly popular and effective in addition to traditional methods of instruction as highlighted by the latest statistics from Badan Pusat Statistik Indonesia (BPS). In order to address the issues of scalability, interactivity and security in e-learning platforms. This study introduces a web-based learning environment that is focused on teaching programming. Leveraging the MERN stack, while also integrating TypeScript for improved code reliability, Next.js for accelerated React.js functionality, Tailwind CSS for responsive design. Backend features include media management with Cloudinary, secure video streaming with VdoCipher, data storage with MongoDB, and caching with Redis. Iterative development will be following agile methodology. In order to create a vibrant and encouraging learning environment the platform includes interactive course pages multimedia content real-time feedback mechanisms and community-building tools. Despite some early difficulties the implementation phase effectively achieved development goals. To further support international online learning initiatives further efforts will be directed toward improving platform security and functionality.

This research discusses the challenges faced by university students in group work assignments and the importance of effective project management. This article introduces Tasknest, a project management platform that helps teams organize tasks, track progress, and improve communication. This article also reviews related studies on project management applications and discusses the Agile methodology used in the development of Tasknest. The implementation of the task management system was done using Agile methods and Typescript programming language. This web-based system includes a landing page, dashboard page, board page, and settings page. Black box testing was conducted to ensure the system functions as expected, with tests on login, board creation, adding columns and cards, and others. Overall, the system was successfully implemented and tested. Tasknest application development includes user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint backlogs, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. System design analysis includes usecase diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, and entity relationship diagram. Application features include task list management, team member management, real-time collaboration, notification system integration, task enhancement, in-task checklists, user authentication, UI optimization, performance improvement, collaboration feature enhancement, database design, front-end implementation, and UI design. The Agile Alliance outlines 12 principles for implementing Agile methodologies, which prioritize customer satisfaction, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Agile methodologies offer high flexibility, rapid iteration, responsiveness to change, improved product quality, stakeholder involvement, transparency, and clear responsibilities. Scrum is a framework that supports Agile principles, with a focus on transparency, inspection, and adaptation. Scrum improves team collaboration, rapid adaptation to change, transparency, visibility, product quality, and team motivation. In the development of the Tasknest application, the Scrum methodology is used, with roles such as Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Development Team. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and literature studies, while data testing techniques involve black box testing. Planning using Scrum involves creating a Product Backlog with prioritized features and fixes. Prioritization determines the duration of each sprint.

Stock assessment determines the status of fishery stock to support manage- ment decision making. Considering the iterations between exploratory cal- culations and the need to compare outputs to elicit better model settings, we should focus on not only the accuracy of abundance estimation and the toler- ance of uncertainty but also the efficiency of the project workflow. Although in Japan, a stock assessment model was introduced written in the R language in 2012, the workflow did not sufficiently adjust, creating problems because the current workflow is contrary to the principles of effective value creation. To make our project sustainable, we propose adopting the agile methodol- ogy, an iterative development method used by software developers, for stock assessment. Therefore, we wrote an example report as a package document in the R language. Developed under a continuous integration environment, the report remains up to date, with every modification on component files. This method enabled our work to be efficient and transparent by allowing and documenting scenario branching, error corrections, and annual updates. We show that the iterative development cycle benefit us by allowing us to focus on the essential business problem of the assessment project.

The issue of sufficient nutrition and appropriate distribution in school lunch programs presents a significant challenge that must be addressed. Many schools struggle to provide food that meets all of their students’ nutritional needs. Additionally, inconsistencies in nutritional information and administrative difficulties often hinder the efficient operation of these programs. Developing technology to better manage school lunch programs is critical to addressing these issues. The goal of this project is to create a web application that ensures the fair distribution of nutritional information while also increasing the efficiency of lunch program administration. The methodology used in this research is Agile. Agile approaches are employed throughout the development process, allowing for rapid iteration and responsiveness to user feedback. The end result is a web tool called Nourishify, designed to streamline the management and dissemination of nutritional information. Implementing Nourishify led to substantial improvements in access to nutrition information and operational efficiency, making it an innovative solution for school lunch programs. This project demonstrates that integrating technology can significantly enhance the administration and transparency of nutrition programs, ultimately benefiting students' health and well-being. Moreover, Nourishify’s user-friendly interface and real-time data capabilities ensure that all stakeholders, including parents, administrators, and nutritionists, can easily collaborate and access crucial information.

Despite the high demand for strong communication skills among employers, many students struggle with inadequate experience and skills, leading to reduced confidence and lower chances of securing desired jobs. Existing tools and resources for improving communication skills are limited, especially free ones, leaving students underprepared and less confident in interviews. To address this issue, a comprehensive solution is needed that provides free, customizable tools to enhance students' interview communication skills. Invisor is a web-based self-interview training application that leverages AI and Machine Learning to analyze users' behavior, responses, and facial expressions during simulated interviews. Accessible via desktop, laptop, or mobile devices, Invisor offers interactive and voice-recorded feedback to help students prepare for interviews effectively. By employing AI technologies, Invisor generates personalized interview questions based on job descriptions, enhancing the realism of the interview experience and providing tailored feedback to improve users' responses. Developed using agile methodologies, Invisor has undergone iterative enhancements, integrating user and stakeholder feedback promptly to improve usability and functionality. The combination of AI-driven simulations and agile development practices enables Invisor to meet current user needs and anticipate future demands, providing a robust tool for interview preparation in a competitive job market. This paper outlines the development and implementation of Invisor, demonstrating its effectiveness in enhancing interview skills and confidence among students and job seekers.

This paper embarks upon an investigation and scrutiny of these development models, culminating in the proposition of "Quasi" Development Models: Quasi-Waterfall and Quasi-Agile.

Drawing on Lean Thinking and Agile principles, the paper emphasizes the importance of customer focus, multidisciplinary collaboration, respect for people, inspection and adaptation, experimentation, incremental delivery, and continuous feedback in driving continuous improvement. It identifies key problems associated with the lack of continuous improvement, including quality issues, stagnation, inefficiency, lack of learning, lack of participation and collaboration, and lack of adaptability. To overcome these challenges, the paper proposes a solution that leverages agile events and interactions, such as sprint retrospectives and daily scrum meetings, and introduces a "kaizen board" as a visual tool to manage and monitor the continuous improvement process. The manuscript highlights the benefits of continuous improvement in terms of quality enhancement, efficiency gains, improved customer satisfaction, and adaptability to change. Effective strategies are proposed to overcome the challenges faced by organizations during this early stage. In summary, the key steps to be followed in the initial stages of digital transformation with agility are described, including the importance of establishing strong leadership, defining a clear vision and scope of the transformational process, among others. This paper presents the development of a housing information system application using the Agile development method. The rapid development of information technology has necessitated the use of systems in various fields for efficient administration and data processing. However, traditional soft- ware development approaches are time-consuming and may not meet user requirements. The Agile methodology, with its flexible and iterative approach, addresses these challenges by focusing on delivering a functional system quickly. In this study, credit scoring and background related to housing information systems are examined, along with an overview of related work in Agile software development methodologies. The methods used in developing the housing information system application are explained, including the Agile development process and the stages involved. The results show that the Agile development method effectively produces user-friendly and functional housing information system applications. The system provides a simple and intuitive interface that facilitates easy navigation and access to information. Overall, the Agile development method is a valuable approach for software development to meet evolving user needs.

Advances in technology and information systems have had a major impact on people's lives and activities. Smartphone use plays an important role in many areas, including housing governance. One of the problems faced by housing administrators is administrative management, which is still manual. To overcome this, it is proposed to use a web-based application. A literature study was conducted to support the development of this application. Data collection through interviews and observations was carried out to obtain system requirements. The Agile Scrum method is used in making applications. These applications have non-functional requirements such as security, availability, performance, usability, and compatibility. Implementation using PHP and MySQL. Testing is done to ensure the application functions properly. This application allows administrators to manage citizen data, payment of contributions, billing, and print financial reports. Residents can upload proof of transfer and print proof of payment. It is hoped that this application will facilitate housing administration, improve the quality of life in the community, and create a better housing environment.

This paper presents the development of a Motorcycle Rent Application using Agile Methodology, tailored for the Android platform and developed with Flutter. Agile is iterative and adaptive approach, emphasizing continuous improvement and customer feedback, was crucial in managing the project's dynamic requirements. Flutter, with its single code base for multiple platforms and hot reload feature, significantly expedited development and enhanced the application's responsiveness and user interface. The project successfully implemented features such as user registration, motorcycle listing, rental booking, and payment integration, resulting in a seamless user experience. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of combining Agile Methodology with Flutter to create high-quality, responsive mobile applications that meet modern user expectations.

The main question proposed in this research is if different types of organizational approach, adapted from rapidly changing disciplines — such as IT industry, and software engineering in particular — could help overcome this gap by shortening the response time needed to analyze advanced solutions in accordance with changed circumstances, thus allowing for architectural programming to obtain different positions in the timeline of project planning and realization. We propose a novel methodology of architectural design as a self-reliant instrument inspired by Agile Manifesto and some of its instantiations, most notably by the Scrum Framework.

What: Implementing the EFQM Model 2025 enhances organizational adaptability, innovation, and flexibility, improving financial, operational, and strategic outcomes. Better alignment with sustainability goals leads to long-term value and social responsibility. Improved stakeholder engagement methods enhance understanding and satisfaction. The use of advanced technologies supports innovation and operational efficiency, while better strategic and operational performance and risk management ensures greater stability and the ability to anticipate future challenges.

Optimizing warehouse operations and leveraging data insights are driving forces behind the rise of automation. This research explores the development of the SWIF warehouse management system (WMS) using the Agile methodology, a departure from traditional software development approaches. Agile’s iterative and step-by-step approach facilitated a streamlined development process. It allowed for quick adjustments based on evolving needs and feedback from stakeholders. This resulted in a substantial decrease in development time and a noticeable improvement in the final product’s quality. The study emphasizes the positive effect of Agile on teamwork and customer satisfaction. Developers reported enhanced communication and collaboration, leading to a stronger sense of ownership and engagement. Customers expressed greater satisfaction with the features and functionalities delivered in stages. The successful implementation of Agile in SWIF’s development showcases its effectiveness in managing complex and ever-changing software development projects. The study encourages the adoption of Agile methodology for similar projects to boost responsiveness, quality, and overall project success.

There are laws and rights aimed at people with disabilities, especially those with Mild Intellectual Disability (LDD), who actively participate in society but face barriers in learning and participating in various activities. In Colombia, where 1.3 million people with disabilities are registered, 16.8% correspond to the category of DIL, some of whom are part of the economically active population. Despite this, significant employment gaps persist.In order to address this gap, this research focuses on the analysis of the specific problems related to the labor inclusion of people with IDL in logistics environments, particularly in cold rooms. The aim is to prevent occupational hazards through the application of Industry 4.0 technologies.Through the collaboration of the Analytics and Design Research Seedbed, with entrepreneurs and experts in the field, significant challenges in labor inclusion in low-temperature environments were identified. The agile Scrum methodology was used to develop a prototype of an application that addresses these issues. This prototype meets the functional and non-functional requirements necessary to ensure the protection and prevention of risks for workers with DIL who perform functions in refrigerated rooms.This prototype manages to provide an inclusive alternative for people with disability Intellectual Light, challenging business cultural paradigms, by integrating mobile devices with Industry 4.0 technologies, encouraging greater interaction between machines and human beings, thus prioritizing the health and safety of employees in their daily activities.

These problems are cause of many changes, occurs in system development and leads to poor scope management. Scope creep is one of the momentous prompting parameter on the success of project. The failure in manage scope creep leads for 80 percent of software projects failure. However, using agile approach the impact of scope creep on projects become insignificant. A correctly distinct scope tends us to develop a quality product, within identified plans and decided cost to the stake-holders.

The recent past has witnessed a growing interest in technologies for creating chatbots. Advances in Large Language Models for natural language processing are underpinning rapid progress in chatbot development, and experts predict revolutionary changes in the labour market as many manual tasks are replaced by virtual assistants in a range of business functions. As the new technology becomes more accessible and advanced, more companies are exploring the possibilities of implementing virtual assistants to automate routine tasks and improve service. This article reports on qualitative inductive research undertaken within a chatbot development team operating in a major international enterprise. The findings identify critical success factors for chatbot projects, and, based on the in-depth case study, a model is put forward to aid the manageability of chatbot implementation. The presented model can serve as an exemplar guide for researchers and practitioners working on the design, development and implementation of virtual assistants. It is flexible and applicable in a wide range of business contexts, linking strategic business goals with execution steps. It is particularly applicable for teams with no experience of chatbot implementation, reducing uncertainty and managing decisions and risks throughout the project lifecycle, thereby increasing the likelihood of project success.

Most mature companies have started some kind of “transformation”, either digital, or agile transformations, to cope with changes in the environment, yet most fail, ending up delivering nothing or just one more reorganization. We postulate that considering the Organization as a self-aware Complex Adaptative System (CAS) is paramount, as the common conception (Industrial: mechanistic and predictive) results in bringing the systems in a frozen or defensive mode. Stimulating the system enables us to use its adaptative power to develop new capabilities, and all layers should be tackled simultaneously, to prevent the system from collapsing back into its original state. To ensure this, it is necessary to create a seed per level, and a mechanism to propagate the transformation, with a focus on development instead of growth, that is qualitative change rather than quantitative. A common vocabulary should also be provided, so conversations can occur at every level. Finally, changing mindsets is key, and both concepts and techniques should be provided as enablers to the adequate mindset level. We detail one such transformation that resulted in distributed leadership and more intrinsic motivation, providing both an account of the transformation itself and a model to read it.

This research focuses on developing a Student Performance Evaluation System to enhance effectiveness and oversight in higher education. The system aims to address challenges faced by instructors in evaluating student performance using a distributed system approach. Agile methodology is employed in development, and database replication techniques are applied for data synchronization. System features include registration, assessment form creation, assessment submission, statistical visualization, and access to assessment history. The system is designed to improve efficiency and transparency in the assessment process. Key features of the system include registration process, assessment form creation, assessment submission, statistical visualization, and access to assessment history. Its goal is to enhance efficiency and transparency throughout the assessment process. The article details the system workflow and the roles played by Admins, Instructors, and students in system usage. Additionally, it discusses the back-end development model and pathways, as well as the performance testing results. Performance testing indicates that the system achieves high throughput of up to 21.55 requests per second, with an average response time of only 34 milliseconds and an error rate of zero percent. These results affirm that the system efficiently handles user loads and nearly instantaneously responds to requests, providing an optimal user experience in the context of student performance evaluation in higher education.

Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the necessity for rapid, efficient testing at large-scale events. Developing rapid and efficient testing methods was critical, especially for events with a high risk of virus spread. The queueing theory offers a powerful tool to manage the flow of people through testing centers. This study uses the M/M/c model to examine how different floor plan configurations impact the efficiency of RADT testing centers. Aim of the study: This research applies queueing theory to optimize the Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Test (RADT) processes at mass gatherings. The study uses the M/M/c queueing model to evaluate the dynamics of RADT centers configured in U-shaped and straight-line layouts. The primary goal is to assess the feasibility of using RADTs efficiently at events and mass gathering entrances, aiming to enhance throughput and minimize wait times. Methodology: The study involved 500 healthy participants, managed by medical staff across a U-shaped and a straight floor plans. Agile management techniques were employed to enhance operational efficiency. The process stages included queue number issuance, registration, sample collection, sample mixing, and results dissemination. Results: Both floor plans enabled the completion of RADT screening in approximately 2 minutes per participant. The U-shaped layout slightly outperformed the straight-line setup in efficiency, demonstrating its effectiveness in optimizing the testing process. Conclusion: This study confirms the feasibility of implementing Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Test (RADT) processes at mass gatherings. It was found that the U-shaped floor plan configuration is particularly effective, indicating its potential suitability for future mass testing scenarios.

Integrated photovoltaic-fuel cell (IPVFC) systems have the potential to contribute to sustainable energy production for grid and off-grid applications. While there are studies focusing on fundamental science and designs for IPVFC systems, there are scarcely studies that have focused on the manufacturability of IPVFC systems, which is certainly the pathway for commercialisation of the systems. This study explores manufacturing strategies that can be considered for exploiting a family of eleven IPVFC systems. A survey and systems thinking were used to investigate the potential modularisation and supply chain management to achieve optimal lean and agile manufacturing strategy. Results show that the Photovoltaic-Thermal-Separate Converter/Inverter-Battery System received 25% of the responses. The optimal manufacturing strategy depends on the overall business strategy of the firm. Although 17% preference for System 1 is significant compared to four members of the family of IPVFC systems (Systems 2, 6, 8 and 9) that received only 2% of the responses, it indicates that there is a likelihood that the demand for System 1 will be among the top 42% of the total demand. Overall, this study provides new insights on how the family of IPVFC systems can contribute to realising greater access to clean energy, by extension contributing to the net-zero efforts using solar energy and solar hydrogen.

Emerging trends such as the shift towards the Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) architecture and the integration of MVC with artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies are also discussed. This comprehensive review not only reaffirms MVC’s enduring relevance but also its adaptive evolution in response to emerging technological demands and market needs.
